The price of 10 grams of gold in Pakistan went up by 6,687 rupees.

Gold prices jumped significantly on Thursday, both worldwide and locally. Globally, gold went up by $78 per ounce, reaching a new price of $4,744.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association reported that gold prices in Pakistan rose by Rs7,800 per tola, hitting Rs496,762, due to higher international prices.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold in the country rose by Rs6,687, reaching Rs390,416.
Like gold, silver prices went up in local markets. The price of silver increased by Rs373 per tola, reaching Rs8,445. The price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs320, reaching Rs7,240.
Gold prices rose again today, following Wednesday’s increase. The price of gold per tola went up by Rs11,100 to Rs488,962. The price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs9,517 to Rs419,206.
Silver prices also went up. The price for about half an ounce increased by Rs223 to Rs8,072, and the price for 10 grams increased by Rs191 to Rs6,920.
On Tuesday, the price of gold decreased by Rs2,100 per tola, reaching Rs477,862, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs1,801, settling at Rs409,689. The price of silver also decreased by Rs65 to Rs7,849 per tola.
The global price of gold dropped $21 to $4,555 per ounce.
On Monday, the price of gold decreased by Rs3,800 to Rs479,962 per tola, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association. Likewise, 10 grams of gold fell by Rs3,257 to Rs411,490, showing a general downward trend. Silver prices also fell by Rs100 to Rs7,914 per tola.
Worldwide, the price of gold for immediate delivery dropped 1.9% to $4,526.88 per ounce. Gold futures in the US also fell, down 2.3% to $4,537.90, showing continued selling of gold.
