KARACHI: On Wednesday morning, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) had varying results, with the main KSE-100 Index starting the day with losses.

Experts said the early price increases didn’t last because investors sold stocks to take their profits. Prices mostly stayed within a narrow range. While some investors bought a few specific stocks, most people remained careful due to current economic news.
On the main stock market, PAKQATAR rose the most by 2.1 points. Other stocks that went up were SPSL (0.92 points), DCL (0.55 points), TBL (0.11 points), and OBOY (0.33 points).
CNERGY dropped by 0.12 points and KEL lost 0.05 points.
OGDC’s stock rose by 1.67 points (0.52%) following news of a major oil and gas discovery at the Bobi Deep-1 well in Sindh. This is a big win for the company. Meanwhile, AABS went up by 0.73 points, but PAEL and PPL saw some investors selling their shares.
