Many Pakistani people came to an event celebrating the first year of Pakistan’s win over India.

Overseas Pakistanis in Dallas celebrated the Marka-e-Haq event with great enthusiasm, highlighting unity, patriotism, and love for their homeland.

A big event called “MARKA-E-HAQ PAKISTAN – Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, Battle of Truth Victory Day” took place in Dallas to celebrate the first anniversary of Pakistan’s win over India in the war on May 5, 2025.

Many people from the Pakistani community came to the event.

The event, organized by community leader Abdul Hafeez Khan, was filled with cheers of ‘Long live Pakistan’ and ‘Long live the Pakistan Army.’

The main guests were Sindh Governor Nehal Hashmi and Syed Qamar Raza, head of the Overseas Pakistani Foundation. Usher Shahzad, Vice Consul General from Houston, along with community leaders, reporters, and business people, were also there.

Speaking to the crowd, Hashmi stated that Pakistan had given a strong response to recent attacks, showcasing its military power globally. He emphasized that a nation’s true strength lies in its principles and encouraged young people to help build Pakistan’s future, especially in its economy.

About Pakistan’s nuclear weapons, he stated that the country became unbeatable after getting nuclear power.

Hashmi commended the Pakistan Air Force’s accomplishments, mentioning MM Alam, who famously shot down five Indian planes quickly in the 1965 war.

In a heartfelt speech, the governor of Sindh stated that Pakistan’s future leaders will come from its young people.

Raza said that Pakistanis living abroad are very important for Pakistan’s economy. He mentioned that they sent $38.3 billion home last year, and this year it’s expected to be more than $41 billion. He asked them to send money through official ways, explaining that if more money comes in, Pakistan can rely less on the International Monetary Fund.

Also, famous senior journalist Sohail Warraich stated that the world was openly recognizing Pakistan’s success.

At the end of the event, people prayed for Pakistan to be safe, stable, and successful.
