KARACHI: It’s been reported that the Cambridge International Education (CIE) AS-level Business Studies exam paper was leaked online, causing worries about exam safety.
This happened shortly after CIE said that a math test was leaked, explaining that the test was shared before it should have been, which broke their rules.
The Business Studies test that was supposed to happen today was apparently leaked and shared on the internet last night.
One of the three exam papers shared on social media last night was the Business Studies paper, code ‘9609 Paper 1.’
On April 30, CIE stated: “Cambridge International AS Level Mathematics Paper 12 (9709), used in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Pakistan, and South Asia, was shared too early, breaking our rules.”
The exam board stated they are quickly and completely investigating what happened to figure out how much was leaked and decide what to do about the leaked exam.
CIE stated that their main focus is to make sure students are not negatively affected by what happened. They are also working hard to protect the integrity of the exams and keep trust in the grades given.
