On April 28 and 29, security forces stopped two groups from crossing the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. In separate events in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, they killed 13 terrorists backed by India.

The military’s media wing, ISPR, reported on Thursday that security forces in Mohmand district detected a group of militants trying to cross the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

“Our soldiers successfully fought this group of rebels. Because of their accurate and skilled fighting, eight rebels from the Indian-backed rebel group were killed,” it said.

It reaffirmed that the ongoing counter-terrorism operation, called ‘Resolve for Stability,’ which was approved by the Federal Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue strongly by security forces and law enforcement to eliminate foreign-backed terrorism from the country.
