Shan Masood will captain the Pakistan team in the Test series. The Pakistan Cricket Board hasn’t announced the teams for the limited-overs (white-ball) matches yet.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the umpires for the upcoming Pakistan vs. South Africa series of limited-overs cricket matches, taking place from October 12 to November 8. The first match will be at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from October 12-16. Rodney Tucker from Australia, an experienced umpire, will be one of the on-field umpires, along with Christopher Brown from New Zealand, who is a rising umpire.

Ranjan Madugalle from Sri Lanka will be the referee for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 matches and shorter format series. Saikat Sharfuddoula from Bangladesh, an ICC Elite Panel umpire, will be the third umpire, and Faisal Khan Afridi from Pakistan, an ICC International Panel umpire, will be the fourth umpire. For the second Test match (October 20-24), Christopher Brown and Saikat Sharfuddoula will be the on-field umpires, Rodney Tucker will be the third umpire, and Rashid Riaz will be the fourth umpire.

In the first T20I on October 28, Muhammad Asif Yaqoob and Rashid Riaz will be the on-field umpires, with Faisal Khan Afridi as third umpire and Tariq Rasheed as fourth umpire. The same umpires will work the second T20I on October 31. For the third T20I on November 1, Rashid Riaz and Faisal Khan Afridi will be the on-field umpires, Asif Yaqoob will be the third umpire, and Tariq Rasheed will be the fourth umpire.

For the three ODIs, Saikat Sharfuddoula and Asif Yaqoob will be the on-field umpires for the first ODI on November 4, Alex Wharf from England will be the third umpire, and Rashid Riaz will be the fourth umpire. Alex Wharf and Ahsan Raza will be the on-field umpires for the second ODI. Saikat Sharfuddoula and Rashid Riaz will be the third and fourth umpires, respectively.

Pakistan test squad

For the third ODI, Saikat Sharfuddoula and Faisal Khan Afridi will be the on-field umpires, Alex Wharf will be the third umpire, and Rashid Riaz will be the fourth umpire. Pakistan’s Test squad includes Shan Masood (captain), Aamir Jamal, Abdullah Shafique, and others.
